‘Tell me, what song would you like to be played at your ceremony?’

Whenever Sandie finds herself in conversation with a person she has just met, they might ask her what she does for a living. Often, when she says ‘Funeral Director’, they make an odd face; sort of like a contortion, sometimes accompanied with a sharp intake of breath, or a look that suggests fear or distress.

Sandie will immediately put them at their ease and tell them the job is one that is regularly full of love, compassion, funny stories, treasured memories and beautiful, respectful farewells.

To put people at ease about talking about funerals, Sandie often asks a very simple question. ‘Tell me, what song would you like to be played at your ceremony?’

If the idea of talking about funerals with your family or friends makes you uncomfortable, why not give Sandie a call and ask her if she’ll help you. No obligation. Just conversation…she’s locally located in West Pymble and will come to you; happy to chat on the phone or email.
